Steve and Brett met in 2007 and have been friends ever since. They’ve watched countless films together in that time and did some talking but things never went further than that. That is until 12 years later in 2019 when The Evil Thread was conceptualized. Brett and Steve saw The Lighthouse in theaters. They were discussing the movie and Brett simply said “we could do a podcast” and they were off. 2 years later in 2021 The Evil Thread officially began on Long Island, New York
